This 2+ person super lightweight MAN TGM 4x4 Expedition Truck is brand-new and available with a full outfit to start your future world journey. The truck has a dual-climate redundant design with 2 diesel & water tanks, 3 heat sources, 2 alternators, and a double/separated lithium battery bank.
The 5m42 spacious interior provides maximum space through a 2-person lift bed. This allows a large(r) kitchen, a 6+ person sitting corner, and a large storage wall. A large mirror at the front side of the living unit accentuates the spacious feel even more. The bathroom consists of a clever split door where the end of the hallway becomes part of a separate shower cell.
The rear up / down platform has space for 2 optional E-bikes stored out of sight in a separate carbon box. The rear-right side has a slide-out platform usable as an outside terrasse with an integrated awning. The front-right side has a large hatch for storing gear, tools, parts & materials. The exterior has a remarkable shape made possible by the unique characteristics of carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP / CFK).
The living unit's exterior design uniquely replicates the shapes of the MAN TGM driver's cab. These shapes are also found in the carbon-rooftop box design on the driver's cab. Most of the interior is also made from Carbon fiber, resulting in an extreme weight reduction of approximately 3.000 Kg. The Living Unit, fully furnished, weighs around 1.200 Kg.
This extreme weight reduction has several unprecedented advantages, such as excellent offroad capabilities, responsive acceleration & braking, and better fuel consumption. In expedition mode, the truck is estimated to weigh around 8.5 - 9 Tons, and in holiday mode, just below 8 Tons.
